Human Hair Custom Orders

Human Hair dreadlocks are available in over 35 colours and can be made to your exact thickness and length. A minium order quantity of 10 dreads which are the same colour, length and thickness apply. If you would like a quote, please email contact@dreadlocks.com.au with the following information and we will respond within 24 hours.

- Should ends be left undreaded and wispy OR blunt and rounded?
- Would you like the top:

• Blunt/rounded as per the pre made dreads
• Open and undreaded - first inch or so cut off the weft and left undreaded
• Single Ended loop so that they can be braided in
• Double Ended with both ends undreaded and wispy for braiding in

Next Steps:
If you accept the quote provided, we will send you an invoice for a 50% non refundable deposit. Once this payment is received, we start the process by ordering in the hair. Custom orders may take approximately 4-8 weeks to complete but we will confirm this when we receive your enquiry. Upon completion, we will then invoice you for the remaining 50% plus shipping.

A note on quality:
The quality of our crocheted extensions are exceptional. They are tightly crocheted without any wax, glues or other products. Often customers will start by ordering just 3 of the pre made human hair dreads to review the quality and colours before placing a larger custom order. Whilst generally they receive excellent feedback, occasionally some people do find dreadlocks of any kind (including both their own dreaded hair and dreadlock extensions) to be uncomfortable or irritating on their skin. Usually, as your scalp adjusts this subsides for most people.

A note on colour:
If you are having trouble zooming in and viewing the colour wheel, please email contact@dreadlocks.com.au and we will email you the high resolution image for a clearer view. You are also welcome to send through a photo of your own hair so we can make a recommendation on the colour. Please note, the colour choice, even when a recommendation is given, is ultimately your responsibility. We strive to accurately capture the colours in the images but each screen or device may throw a slight variation to this.

Being Human Hair, these dreads can be dyed however, please be aware that the hair goes through a chemical sanitation process and have also been lightened then dyed to reach their target colour. This can effect how well new dye will take and it can be tricky to achieve consistent results so we recommend a colour specialist is consulted. 

Ombre colour:

We can use two or more colours to achieve an ombre look and this is done by starting the dreadlock in one colour then half way down (or wherever you prefer) we then swap to the other colour. This means that whilst there is an inch or so of cross over, the transition in colour is not gradual. If there's not a huge variation between the two colours this can still look very natural.
